Harry Bradshaw (England)

Thomas Henry (known as Harry) Bradshaw was the first man to win international recognition as a Liverpool player.
He was top scorer with 17 goals one season but could not prevent Liverpool being relegated. A year later though, Bradshaw helped Liverpool regain top flight status when he scored in the Test match wins over Small Heath and West Brom after they had again finished top of Division Two. |
Michel Preudhomme (Belgium)

Michel Preudhomme was vote worlds best keeper in the world cup 1994 USA. Not one, not two, not three, but several worldsaves came out of his sleave. In his group he was the hero in the match The Netherlands - Belgium, which Belgium won by 0-1 due to a goal of Philippe Albert (ex-Newcastle). He played his last year in Benfica (Portugal). Edson Arantes Pelé (Brazil)

Born Edson Arantes Do Nascimento (better known as Pelé) is known as a legend and the best soccer player to ever play the game. He was raised in a very poor family in Tres Coracos (Brazil).
Pelé went on to play in four World Cups with Brazil's National Team. At the 1958 World Cup in Sweden -- one he nearly missed because of a knee injury -- Pelé stunned the world scoring six goals, including two in the championship game to help Brazil win its first World Cup 5-2 over Sweden. He was only 17 years-old, but a legend was born. |
Ronaldinho de Assis Moreira (Brazil)

He left PSG this summer to join Barca after being courted by many of the biggest clubs in Europe, eventually choosing the Catalan giants over English giants Manchester United.

Johan Cruijff (The Netherlands)

This player came through internationally in '73/'74. He started playing with Ajax Amsterdam where he won the Europa Cup One 3 times. Afther that he signed with Barcelona where he again proved his amazing technique and tremendous view of strategy in the game. He retired with his old club Ajax under standing ovation of the nation. |
